So I really like the faceplate shape of the MkIV/MkX armored heads (I know they're different but the profile is very similar) and I always liked the look of hoods over power armor helmets.

The librarian kit with the hood and big flowing cloak is ace. And the Primaris Chaplain is right up my alley.

But if I did start making a Primaris space marines collection, I'd like for more of the dudes to be sporting those hoods. Is there anywhere to get hooded MkIV/MkX helmets that could possibly fit on Intercessor bodies?

I've come across Kromlech heads and Dark Angels Vets heads in my search but so far none that have the distinctive schnozz. I thought for sure FW would have produced a hooded MKIV head set by now, but alas tis not so.

Am I SOL? Relegated to sculpting every hood by hand with greenstuff if I wanted to do so? That sounds exhausting if I want any more than 10 dudes.

You could use traditional modelling approach. You do 4-6 greenstuff hoods on regular helmets, cast those in silicone and make as many copies in castable resin as the molds will produces before they fail.

Alternatively, you could hire someone on fiver to create a digital model with a few variations and print that on a resin printer.

You could try using Bluetooth stuff to mold the helmets, then cast them in resin. I use the uv resin from gsw. It's super cheap and cures in seconds if you use the uv torch.

Good point Anne's revenge.
Blue stuff in combination with greenstuff is a much lower barrier to low quantity duplication of bits.

Shapeways stores that do not-Space Marine bits often take commissions. Could try that.
