I'm not a huge fan of the heavy bolter scout model. It looks pretty dated to me. But I want to use one in my Space Marine Killteam.
Right now I'm using some necromunda enforcers as scouts.
In terms of equipping one with a heavy bolter, I have a sternguard veteran kit but the heavy bolter doesn't really line up with with any of the necromunda figures (I'm not super skilled with green stuff).
Any other ideas of heavy bolters that might work with necromunda enforcers -- or any figures that could pass for scouts?
I spent some time googling but wasn't able to find much, so any ideas are appreciated!

Eh honestly, if you want a scout with heavy bolter try and track down one of the old metal ones. They are far, far more attractive then their plastic counterpart.
Alternatively if you have some Subjugators then one of the assault rams would be easily modified to become a heavy bolter. As simple as cutting off the ram end and leaving the ram arm as the barrel.

Otherwise, you could use someone like Iron-hand Straken Harker. He has a heavy bolter.

I believe he meant to say ‘harker’ instead of ‘straken’; also there is ox from penal legion; if you’re ok with heavy stubbers instead of heavy bolters, then necromunda gangs and chaos cultist from dark vengeance set will do also.

You could try using a HB on a reiver body. This might be complicated if your KT list actually uses reivers, but they can fill the niche of lightly armored marines.

Edit:
Here is a pic I snapped for someone asking how an IHB scaled on a reiver. If you used a normal HB, left off the chapter pad, and replaced the deathwatch pad with a reiver one or left that off, you would end up with something akin to a scout profile. A bit bigger, perhaps, but the heavies are always the beefy guys in games. (also, ditch the backpack)

Dont always need to fire those HMGs from the hip. Granted for a scout the full 60mm base is overkill, but some portable cover could come in useful.

I took the gunner from a Land Speeder Storm with his heavy bolter and did just what Flinty suggests there.

If you're planning on a few and don't mind converting stuff...the FW Heavy Bolters for the Heresy would work well.

I'll second the palanite subjugators. You don't even have to cut anything off, as the ram plate is a separate piece. Just drill out the "barrel" and you have something that looks very convincingly like the old heresy era underslung heavy bolters, but with a "locally made" twist.
