I didn't hear anything about this Kickstarter until a comic book reviewer mentioned it on Youtube a couple days ago... they need to advertise more!

Same game system as their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games. It's quite expensive for what you get, but I want it anyway.

Love the look of it.
Way too much money (I’m not buying more mini and board games, the odd cheap KS may get through secretly but not this level).
But some great figures that I’d like to paint up..

Love the design and art, very nostalgic for me. Will have to see reviews first to see if the game is good though.

I have so many Heroclix minis lying around I thought I should try getting into that game so I could use them, but I tried reading the rulebook and just didn't retain any of it. More complicated than my ADD wanted to bother with. But for anybody who wants a lot of miniatures for it, and have their games look like they take place in the BtAS universe, this is a decent option. They are unlocking stretch goals and I have a feeling a decent number will be unlocked to help justify the price retroactively.

Also, Knight Models is a mess and super annoying to deal with.

Too expensive, too much time to build and paint.

HeroClix is about the only inexpensive DC or Marvel miniatures game, especially through the secondary market. All of the DC and Marvel miniature games are still throwing dice, so I'm not going to pay a hundred dollars more for one than another. I should try the Savage Worlds superhero ruleset.

Also, with the coronavirus shutting down factories, and only essential items being allowed to be manufactured, I'm holding off on any KS plastic for a few months. I read a news article that most small and medium Chinese companies only have reserves for one or two months. I wouldn't be surprised if, if one Chinese company goes bankrupt, it'll cause others down the supply line to go likewise.

Because Knight Models doesn't know what it's doing? After two edition changes and a bunch of miniatures being invalidated, I was done with them. Worse, had a couple friends who made it on the playtesting team. They would get stuff to playtest after material already went to the printers. The best they could hope for was that their recommendations could get into an errata.

Hearing how the sausage was made left me with no confidence in Knight.

Don't know how IDW's games are, but do know one local who did work for them for a couple years in the game department. He never spoke poorly of the company or department.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Looks really cool. Hits the nostalgia super hard.

Just can't afford it right now... :(

Already backed, I'm just too big a fan of the series to pass on it.

Unless you have to have the KS exclusives or stretch goals, I recommend just waiting until release and buying it cheaper from Miniature Market. They have the TMNT version of this game for less than the KS, and you can even buy the SGs as well (though the combined price is greater, I believe, but for just the base game it's cheaper).

Well I try and swear off KS these days as its insane how many I picked up in the golden age of Cool mini KS's, but considering this is the best version of Batman in mini form and looks like a good system, guess I'm in, no chance its delivering December though.

I really love the idea of bringing some worlds to life in miniature form, so I'm all-in now because I don't want to miss out on anything. They're about to cross the 1 million dollar mark so here's a stretch goal update! Ra's al Ghul is the goal at 1 million, probably followed by Talia immediately after.

Got to play a demo of this at PAX EAST today, and I did quite like it!

The demo game was pretty easy - but I think that was by design and that the main game itself won't be quite so easy to beat...

I'm backing this now though - the minis looked great, the game was fun, co-op mode is a blast and it is fully compatible with their other similar games - there's a TMNT one that will work with this one, as well as...one other?...with more to come!

That's great to hear! I've had the chance to try the TMNT one and I really liked it. It's a classic minis board game sort of like I grew up with, where you move around, roll to attack, and complete an objective... except nowadays the dice are more complex, you get cards to do special actions, and so on, but it still really appeals to me too.

The campaign is in the final 48 hours.

They unlocked the three comedian villains from Make 'Em Laugh, and are currently doing the Girl's Night Out campaign with Livewire and then presumably Super Girl. And they are also giving most of the villains a "Hero card" so you can play as them if you get the All-In.

They've done a good job including most the important stuff, I wish they would do the main civilian characters as replacement bystanders you save, but that wouldn't add much gameplay value so probably was never in consideration. The only villains who were in 2 or more storylines are Kyodai Ken, Roland Daggett, and Professor Milo, I believe, so again, pretty complete.
