Hi! I'm trying to build a solid 2000 point Ultramarines list for casual play at my LGS. I love my Repulsor Executioner, but it dies fast, sometimes before I can use it. My plan is to add a Relic Deredeo to get the invul save for the Executioner, and use Chief Librarian Tigurius to give a -1 to hit to the Executioner, too. I'll use the techmarine gunner from the Thunderfire cannon to heal the Executioner when I can. I'm new to 40k and am very interested in suggestions.

Took the second list out for a spin today against an Ork list. The Repulsor Executioner put out plenty of dakka but my opponent went after my Deredeo,dropped it, then went to work on the Executioner. At that point my army was just a speed bump for the oncoming green tide.

Hi buddy looks like a decent list, I use an executioner in my list and used to have a similar problem, since putting 2 warsuits and a leviathan in it takes the focus of your executioner while they try chew through the other armour. Maybe try not too base your whole army around your tank and try add a few other heavy hitters, maybe try run 2 tanks or like I say a leviathan is always a good shout. Hope this helps.
