Hello my fellow dakka-ites!!! After a long hiatus I'm looking at a potential return to the game as my son gets close to the age where he could play. Hes into Pokemon and may play more tourneys once we move and are closer to a reputable store, ours right now is a bit skeevy.

That being said, I havent played in ages. I had started a stormvermin themed army a while back that was going to convert everything from the plastics (jezzails, PWG's, weapon teams, everything). Is this viable? Thematically it's a mix of Skyre and verminous I guess. Probably with some gutter runners thrown in.

Verminlord
Clawlord
Engineer
2x 30 stormvermin
10 gutter runners
20 night runners
6 jezzails
5 acolytes
Ratling gun & WFT

I've heard that maybe the weapon teams here aren't too good but the WFT is a favorite and I think I have one converted already.

Skaven as an army are extremely powerful, which leaves a lot of room to play around with less-than-optimal choices while remaining a fully viable force.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
