So this is more of a fluff army than anything else. The main tactic is to get in quickly and deal as much damage as possible before they can retaliate. The vanilla Chaos Marines are there to provide some cover fire as well as seize any objectives. The havoc squad is meant to eliminate any enemies that the possessed would have trouble damaging. Any thoughts?

I would recommend you throw a daemon prince in there to make your units a bit more effective, overall I think its a solid list.

What should I pull out to make room for it?

I'd take out one of the Masters of Possession and switch him with a regular sorcerer - you're missing out on Dark Hereticus here and this list looks prime for warptime.

Alternatively replace him with a DP and cut out some of the spawn - he'll be able to keep up with your possessed and gives you access to Dark Hereticus - either to buff himself with Diabolic Strength or to warptime a unit of possessed forward as a vanguard and to tie-up shooty units while the rest of your army closes in.

Also what's your Warlord trait and any thoughts on relics?

Do you know what your sin is, Malcolm Reynolds?
Ah hell, I'm a fan of all seven.
But right now, I'm gonna have to go with wrath.

Alright so I took out two of the masters, and put in a daemon prince with wings and a sorcerer with a jump pack then made the daemon the warlord

Then I was looking through my Psychic Awakening book and saw all the strategems and traits the Word Bearers have that support possessed so I changed my army to reflect that

Ok, so there is a way you can run them a Word Bearers, but keep the advance+charge benefit of Dark Raiders.

Step 1: get some Slaanesh heralds in a Slaanesh daemons detachment (can be supreme command so 3 heralds)
Step 2: make your possessed Mark of Slaanesh
Step 3: as long as your possessed remain within the auras of the heralds, they can advance and charge - and also get a +1 to their Strength for being Slaanesh daemons.
Tasty...

So how much am I going to need to pull out of my list to make room for them?

Well a herald of slaanesh is 50 points. So 150 for 3. The problem is you could go much further down this rabbit hole - you could invest more into a contorted epitome and Syll'eske and before you know it you're running Emperor's Children! (sorry - old habits)

None of this is necessary - but you could easily find the space by leaving 2-3 of your Greater Possessed at home.

I could pull the sorcerer out of the list, since I am only probably going to use warptime which I can cast using the Daemon Prince...

I'd say keep the sorceror and have him cast prescience.

Do they make Heralds of Slaanesh on steeds anymore? I don’t see any on GW

This actually got me thinking.

What about having 3 Maulerfiends? You can make them Slaanesh, and they are already deamons?
Depending on how you kit them they can add some extra anti-tank or big stuff.

I'm probably reading it wrong, as I haven't played in years...

Furthermore, after looking over the WB and EC strats and such, I feel like the EC strats are more suited for this style of play.
I mean just the 1 CP to turn one Chrarge die to a 6 would be killer for this army.

REPENT for tommorrow you DIE!!!!

And bingo, we've successfully turned the OP's renegade Tzeentchian lads into an Emperor's Children List - good job gang!
