So I have the AOBR Sargent that I don't want to use as a Sargent for the unit. I got a spare Terminator from the WD edition when it came free with the magazine, and will be making two Sargent's out of a standard set. So that means that I have a spare model that I wont be using, and I though of converting him into a Librarian. My first thought was to take the sword and exchange for an ax that I have in my bits box. Anyone have any other bright ideas as to how to make this spare Sargent into a Librarian?

I would recommend getting a spare marine shoulder pad and carving it out into an aegis hood and stick it to the helmet ring. Reallybinly needs something to be a bit rounded and to project over the top.of the guys head. If you have any small books 9r some scrollsnoelr even GS then add some librarian style accoutrements to the shoulder pad or shin armour.

You could also.check out the grey knight range and see if you can get an open hand and arm and have him doing something arcane and zappy with the arm not holding the axe.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I've got a few shoulder pads lying around, so that is a good idea. I will look into your idea concerning the Grey Knights to see if there is anything that strikes me as good to use. As far as GS some books and libby accouterments, I will see what I can do.

I used a grey knight hand on the guy with the stick in the below pic. Some nice weapon holding hands and arms in the range. That open hand worked nicely for me and could potentially be a magic using type pose.
