Hello guys,

just had a Skype session with a guy in Nottingham HQ. Rumour mill is currently running hot like lava. He was eavesdropping at the conference door and overheard something like this:

-New 40K faction in December.
-Use of lasguns.
-Clad in flak armour.
-Slow infantry.
-Use of improved sentinels.
-Access to psykers.
-Access to bulky Terminator-like armour for HQ and Elite units.
-Cool, manly bikers.
-Short-tempered demeanor.
-Hold grudges.

I don't know what this all means but as always take it with a grain of salt.

It's that day of the year where people will stoop very low for a joke. Most will clearly fall short and are best overlooked, lest we feel short changed. In fact, it might be a good idea to get someone to squat this thread.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

If this came originally from Dakka then OK, nice April Fools, if it came from GW then grrr, don't tease us for squats we wont get.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I only started playing in 3rd edition, so I have no real nostalgia for the squats. That being said, if they were able to find a new vision for them (instead of drunken biker-miners) I'd likely by a 3,000 point army of them.

Have you seen Mantic’s Forgefathers and Brokkrs? They might scratch that itch, and for a lot less dough.

there's absolutely zero problems with drunken biker miners.
