I'm a fan. The game is complicated -- it will take a session or two for all but experienced board gamers to wrap their brains around the various interlocking game mechanics. But theme/narrative/art/design elements are all very appealing, and the cooperative element is very strong and gameplay is well designed, with players pooling strategy, powers, effects and tactics to hold back the tide of the settlers (who, in this game, are the bad guys). Replayability seems strong too, even before investing in expansions. (One expansion is already out -- another is scheduled.) This has quickly become one of my favorite boardgames.
