I was out at a dollar store picking up some stuff. Man you can make a really big mass of spaghetti and meatballs with stuff you get there pretty cheap and it's good too! (I had my mask on, never fear.)
I strolled thru the craft section because sometimes they have good sets of brushes for a dollar, picked up a couple fairly nice sized drybrushes and a general large brush, good quality, for a dollar when what did my eyes fall upon?
A bottle of "blackboard paint".
I'd never even hear of this before, but i looked at it and it said you can paint it on a porous surface and create a blackboard you can write on with chalk.
Wow. I mean this I had never even heard of before, let alone seen.
I decided I'd try it doe a dollar and had ideas about it being nice for maybe terrain, bases, etc, to give it a rough texture like concrete.
Here. have a look for yourselves.

I think you can read the writing if you squint a little. I've never even thought of this, but then i never had rugrats which i guess is the target audience for this. Has anyone else tried this? I may slap some on a sheet of cardboard and let you know how it went.
Here's the brush set I got, this for a $ wasn't bad all and and I can use them to edge that
DDA if I ever can stay off the net long enough to finish this. I suppose I'll avoid COVID just to contract internet addiction...
