I'm committing to an airbrush and over-committing to new tools for the whole model process. Give me a list to help me out please and thank you!
Heres what i got so far:
1. Iwata Eclipse Hp-Cs Value Set with Hose Cleaner and Paint
2. Airbrush paint booth (small apartment it's a must)
3. 1x Wash bottle
4. Army Painter Range Finder (tape measure got bent out of shape when some kids got a hold of it)
5. tiny detail brushes (six set) I am looking for another just whole set of brushes, my old brushes are...not great.
6. wet paint tray 3 piece. its cheap and easy.
7. 8 piece gundam model tool kit (if it works for gundam why not 40k?)

What I think i need:
1. Glue (mines gone dry and my lgs glue is gak) i thought about using Gorilla glue, but some people jumped down my throat about using it for 40k so im apprehensive.
2. some sort of rebreather/mask - might just go to ACME and see what they have or Home Depot
3. Paint thinner - Everybody has their own recipe it seems usually doing with Distilled Water, but I'd like a consensus on what is GOOD.
4. Another set of brushes.

I would like some Tupperware to store this stuff as a lot of the stuff i have (pulling it from storage) is broken/missing pieces. If you can find something cheap that I haven't link it and i'll love you! Also all of this stuff thus far is on Amazon, if/when my LGS opens ill buy stuff from there, but their stock is limited atm. It's where i'll buy my paints (citadel), but probably not my airbrush paints those i'll try n order as i need. Feel free to PM links or post what you feel is necessary, but be mindful of other posts and try not to bloat post! Thanks!

Looking at my desk, I can see a few things that I'd be lost without:

1. Make-up brushes for drybrushing and a lot of cheap synthetic brushes for metallics, washes, and the first 80% of a model. Vince explains it very well: https://youtu.be/YTm_LgpOA0Y
2. Good lighting. I use two daylight lamps, but you may prefer a single large overhead lamp.
3. Magnifying lenses, depending on your age or eye-sight. I was very surprised at how much difference they made to me.

As far as thinning paints goes, I use a wet palette, tap water, and flow improver for brush painting. I use a 50:50 mix of airbrush thinner and flow improver for airbrushing - except for vallejo surface primer, to which I just add water. Everything I spray is *very* thin - more thinner than paint.
