Starting on my wraiths. I'm going dark metal and copper for a utilitarian feel, and to differentiate them as constructs from actual necrons.

2 of these were done in folk art antique copper, 1 was done in army painter true color. Very early gross area painting stage.

Personally, I'd definitely make a plan to break up all that metallic color. If a model doesn't have contrast you lose out on details.

I did too much washing and was kinda heavy handed on the edging, the first edge on the front plate comes out beautiful due to the shape of the plate edge, the rest...not so much. I'll do better on mater ones.

Not too bad for my first large copper area paintjob , tho, and from a typical tabletop distance

I'm going with making the main eye sorta cyan colored like a white with a blue wash to give it a creepy white eyed look.

I'm mostly at the nitpicking stage where i correct a few slips here and there and finish up the last tiny details. Basing comes next. Any suiggestions?
