Subject: Orks vs Iron Warriors 40K/Kill Team Narrative Report
So recently, me and a friend tried out a parallel battle from the most recent Chapter Approved. Basically, we played a game of 40K, and then partway through, played a game of Kill Team, and the results of the Kill Team game affect the 40K battle. It was seriously super cool, and I can't wait to do it again. Really opens the game up to some really fun possibilities.
I've attached a video of the report for those of you who'd like to watch it, and of course feedback is always welcome.
I think playing something like this is a great way to open up more gaming possibilities with friends, and shake up a stale meta somewhat if you also have to consider that a separate game can affect your main game.
Has anyone else had experience doing these linked style games? I'd love to hear about your experience if so.
