I was prompted by my Phone, and realized that three years ago today I was playing a Blood Bowl exhibition match with the teams right out of the new box I had purchased.

Now, I have several teams, three pitches, and have played dozens of games. We even had a small family tournament.

Here is the report on my blog about that Exhibition Match:

What wargaming memories has your phone, gaming group, friends, family or apps reminded you of lately?

A conversation with friends about no longer having a pool table at work, of all things.

Back in the very early 90s we had a foldable snooker table which we would put up in the living, after school on fridays and for the whole weekend we'd have games of snooker( it was a snooker table after all! ) and also use the table for games of warhammer and Space Marine. The green felt was the Warlord titan's stomping ground!

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

Generally I don't post much wargaming content on Facebook.

A couple of days ago facebook reminded me of a larping incident 8 years ago.
There's a rather embarrassing photograph of me laying dead on the floor as an 8 year old girl skips away giggling.
It happened multiple times that weekend but we don't talk about that anymore.
Not my most heroic moment, funny though.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!

Every time I come to my summer home I am reminded that somewhere on the front lawn of this house is a Legion of Everblight Forsaken, and has been since 2008 or so.

Does this have to be a good memory? Tuesdays were my gaming day back in college. We were starting a new campaign that night at the FLGS and I wanted to get the last couple Necron painted so they looked good. Into my dorm room busts my roommate, telling me to turn on the TV. This was the morning of Sept. 11. Needless to say, it kind of sucked the joy out of that evening's gaming.

I still remember the day my son joined the marines:

But my other son decided to join the Tyranids....

But, seriously, I do have my eldest and mine first 8E game:
