Are you aiming for 3k or 2k?

At any rate I would look into combining some of the saurus cohorts; max unit discount and points/buff efficiency will outweigh the unwieldiness of the larger size.

Aight, wanted to double check since the total was listed as /2000.

If that is your goal, I would run just 40-man units and fit them into one battalion. This will save you a good chunk of points that you can use to get some small chaff units to use as screens. The issue is that at 3k, 20-man saurus units just aren't going to achieve much. A smaller number of bigger units will be more conducive to stacking command abilities on them.

Using some points saved to bring a skink starpriest or two will help generate said command points, as well as provide magical backup.
