So I'd like to get my group in to ME. We are 40k players so they like a physical rule book in hand. Seeing as it will be sometime next year until we get a stream lined game. Could a 1.5 beta PDF be released. Not a whole beta rule book but something that references the main book and amends certain rules to help streamline the game while not invalidating the core book. It would be a easier pill for them to swallow if I could drop down a rule book and like 3-5 pages of beta errata vs handing them the V2 PDF.

It's something that has been discussed, particularly with a view to releasing something similar to the V2 Suppression system and melee changes, but because V2 includes some very fundamental changes it's practically impossible to implement while keeping any sort of meaningful balance.

It's worth mentioning though that while V2 is more streamlined than V1, anyone used to pre-8th edition 40K shouldn't have too much trouble with the level of complexity in V1.
