We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming for something... totally unexpected

This game has taken over the internet the last week since launch, far surpassing Twitch streaming for Fortnite or any other game, and crashing their servers so hard they had to take them down for a whole day last week (all up and running now). It took two of the top five sales spots on Steam (#1 for the main version, #4 for the collector's edition). And it is full of all the non-socially-distant contact shenanigans everyone is craving right now

It's basically a game of Wipeout in video game form, using jellybeans. A fantastic game to try with your spouse or kids, if you have multiple PCs. Or you know, just want to play yourself

There's a learning curve, but it's hilarious... also free if you have Playstation Plus (other platforms coming in the future). Check it out if you somehow haven't managed to see it yet!!!

Played this recently last week and I got to endorse it as well. In a genre that is pretty stale atm, it's a breath of fresh air with it's colorful and wholesome design and Mario-Party-esque game concept. Even if you don't qualify in the first round it's all good fun. If you have a PS4, there's almost no one reason why you shouldn't have it. It'll be even better once cross-play is implemented and you have opportunities to play with people across different platforms.

Personally, my favourite map is still the one with the fake doors (the trampling and buttplug of people that ensues is priceless) or the Fruit ramp.

It's fine. It doesn't hold my attention for too long, but its silly and fun and was free. I'm just not particularly driven by repeating anonymous multiplayer matches.

I hope the success has them fast-tracking the Switch version, I love this on PC but can't think of a game better suited to Nintendo's platform

This happens from time to time.

Its a twitch/youtube stream game for content makers, and it picks up a lot of initial excitement and then it goes away as people find that it isn't as fun to play as it is to watch the antics of various streamers as they lose.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

I know what you're talking about, because I've watched some streamers in other games for exactly that reason . Usually it's because those games are brutally hard, though. This game isn't, at least to get to the finals... the final win, on the other hand, so often eludes me

Hard disagree. This is a great game to play with friends and have a laugh. I've watched one person stream it and while fun, I would rather play with my friends because that is where the real fun is.

A lot of the big twitch streamers have been very hesitant to pick it up.

Good consept but it would have been mutch better if account xp requirments did not increase per lv, as it kinda forces you to win these BR games to get any real progression.

Bit the bullet and bought it, played an hour so far.
Bearing in mind that all of the xp mechanics, currency, cosmetics etc are entirely optional - as they should be - I'm loving what I see so far. I do wonder what kind of longevity it'll have, though... only time will tell.
