Was going to make some reference cards for Secondary Objectives. Looked in my new Core Rulebook. Paused, thinking perhaps there would be more in the Chapter Approved mission pack. Checked there. Found differences in some of the objectives, and some absent in one place or the other.

Does CA2020 errata the objectives in the Core book, or are they completely different and the objectives just happen to have the same names?

Different books have different mission specifics. If you use one book, both use that book for your mission. Don’t mix and match or it won’t work.

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

When you say "CA2020"... are we talking the small form "Grand Tournament" book that also contains the rules, and got bundled with the Munitorum points book?
If so, it's my understanding that that book is intended for a more competitive, tournament-based environment. Rather than one replacing the other, they're completely independent (despite many missions having similarities) and the missions in both are valid.
