Enjoy!

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

Cool Unboxing.

I got one sprue of Abyssal Dwarves and while they were impressive they they had a few short comings.
The first being the hand on the Shield, maybe this was unavoidable due to Sprue space, but having seperate hands would have added more versatility and made them easier to paint.
The second is that common problem with digital based sculpts. Many details are too small.
My bonus problem is that I dislike many of the hand waepons but that is just aesthetics.

Fantastic unboxing!

I've had some terrible issues with mantics models in the past, so have avoided them ever since. But these new plastics look really good, so I've grabbed a bundle of of sorts of their new kits to give them a 2nd go.

Also not a big fan of seeing shields attached to the arms. Maybe the oathmark kits have spoiled me, but it's so much easier to paint separately and being able to mix and match shields between kits is always a quick a& conversion. Those shields are fantastic and would have looked ace on some other dwarf kits I have.

The metal models are really versatile by the looks of it, their webstore doesn't really do them justice, I'd have brought more than one had I known of all the variants. That is some nasty mould lines on the metal though! Oh well, still beats the old god awful restic kits anyway!
