Hello all,
I'm putting together the Indomitus set and have used Tesseract Glow for most of the orbs on the Necron weapons and models so far. I'd like to have different colors for weapon types and/or unit designators. I was wondering if Waystone, Spiritstone, or Soulstone technical colors would operate similarly. Specifically, basing the orbs and some surrounding area in white, and applying the technical color to resemble a glow. If they don't, does anyone have an alternative from any paint producers that'd perform the same job?
It's been 12 years since I bought new models. Back then it was a standard in my areas to prime Black/White/Grey and base on top of that before pressing on. I'm a bit lazier now and have looked at getting a primer color that matches what I'd base the models. Should I prime white/black/grey and then re-spray my base color? or would a single priming of the base colored primer be adequate? I've heard some say to use two coats of that color instead but those cans ain't cheap. Any advice would be appreciated.
Pseudo Edit: I had been priming black and brushing Mephiston Red for a base on my marines, if anyone as advice specific to that scheme.
V/R,
Carter
