My tower of submission project is going on. I designed this as a grimdark 40k thing, a tower erected in areas of less than perfect loyalty (submission) designed to force imperial dominance on the people thru terror and murder.

Adeptus arbites would man it with sniper rifles and summarily execute anyone showing any sign of defiance, which is whooly at their discretion. Holding one's head up, looking angry, casting furtive glances, etc.

People could be summarily executed for signs of possible deviance, being too tall, too short, having a peculiar gate, suspicious bulges in their clothes...

An arbites just 'has a feeling' about someone, krak!

And of course rushing to the aid of anyone shot by an arbites is a capital crime.

Normally these might be manned by 4 snipers, or if the level of submission is higher, 8, with orders to fill a kill quota to crush the public's will.

When the situation goes SHTF an 8 man team could be added with special or heavy weapons. Heavy stubbers, grenade launchers, flamers, missile launchers, heavy bolters, etc.

My idea was one that had been attacked and literally broken apart, as the pic shows. (No idea what did it. Maybe a PO'd daemon? Psyker attack? Improvised explosives?)

I have more to do, I'm going to put the floors in the tower with the central hole for climbing up and down it. Then break the fallen part into a few pieces.

For a joke I'm going to model a doorway on the front, still shut.The building broke before the door did!
