Just, out of interest, you have a camera on at least your phone, yes?

If you're playing on some virtual tabletop program, then you can ignore my query.

I actually quite enjoyed it with the stylized pictures, reminds me of the old White Dwarf Battle reports. Easier to understand and way more clear, although I do agree that it looks a bit "rational"

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like soup. Now you put soup in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put soup into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now soup can flow or it can crash. Be soup, my friend.

I do have a camera on my phone, yes. I write these up several days after the game, but I do intend on trying to incorporate some pictures in the future. Thank you for the feedback.

Read all your battle reports, really good and you play very well.

However it seems like most of your opponents don’t really know how to screen and are very focused on killing. Would you say that is accurate? My impression was often they were reactive on objectives instead of proactive.

First that was a very good write up. Good narative, informative and not to long. I enjoyed it a lot.

Second, wow, just wow. Some really good moves there from you. Playing objectives, as nid player I have not really learned that yet. I often olay orks and they sometimes seems like a card counter for us.

I really like how you surendered the transoort so early. Very good.

I am a bit shocked by your list as well. Malocks where bottim tier in 8th edition. And you are grabbing two of them. Warriors are one of our most durable units after blood of baal and you forsake them. I give you full snaps for being bold. I love it!

Yes, I would say that most people in my group prefer to focus on the killing aspect of the game. They often write lists just trying to maximize offense/defense to try and kill as hard as possible while surviving. It was a mindset that worked really well for a lot of them in the old ITC system where all you had to do was hold 1 objective, and then spend all of your time trying to get kill, kill more and kill secondaries.

Not just playing to kill as much as possible in 9th is an adjustment that a good amount of the group is struggling with in my opinion.

The reports remind me of the old (superior!) WD BatReps as well.

But they did have a few photos.

Remember all the arrows and explosions for dead models? Good times, I remember WD day was my favorite day of the month.

Again, really enjoyed your battle reports, very informative and have already informed how I approach my army list composition and what I practice in lieu of being able to play......

Can’t wait to see the next ones!
