Hi, I’m TJ - or Old School Terminator. I’m continuing to work on my Death Guard and Nurgle forces and I just want to start a thread here. It’s been a while since I have posted here. I was the owner of Dark Future Games on blogger, though now I mostly use Instagram. I always love to hear feedback and I’m happy to chat with fellow hobbyists.

The knight here was built before Chaos knights had a kit. I used the gun from a stompa and quite a few other bits to make what I hope is a convincing double Gatling cannon. There’s so much sculpting here! It was a real joy to wrestle with this model and get it right, both in converting and painting!

I LOVE blight haulers and I love converting them. Here’s one covered in studs with a horn cracking through his armor plate!

Here’s a quick one. I might add some studs to this one too! We will see. I like the idea of a rhinoceros beetle feel!

Some Deathguard Spawn.

These are three parts crypt horrors with plague drone heads and two parts gellarpox with alterations. I loved making these.

For the paint, I used cheap makeup brushes to brogues from a blood Angel contrast over white spray (no make up brush for that red layer), but dry brush Chadian flesh, then kislev, then flayed one. I then made a mix of 70/30 Vallejo glaze medium to Druchi Violet shade and covered the skin in it. The result is very nice in my opinion.

Finished up a squad of Blight Haulers. I started painting these before I started converting more of them, so these guys are light on the conversion work. As I fill the FOC, I’ll have quite a few conversions mixed in! I like the idea of leaders having green heads - where I am from, green head flies were always the worst ones!

Really nice work. All looking great and I love the paint job on the Blight Haulers.

Have to say, that knight is awesome. One of the best things I've seen in a while.

Here’s a little Bloat Drone for my Death Guard! I used a Maggoth head for this one and gave him seven tongues. My idea was to make him a happier boy with his tongues flapping in the breeze like a dog with his head out the window.
