Patrol / stygies
engenseer / necromechanic warlord with autocadeusus If you do that, you can't also be twin tank ace damage reduction, which is VERY likely to be worth more to you than having the +2 points repair (potentially) per turn.

Tallarns
2 tank commanders with tank ace -1 damage per inbound source. Both are twin multimelta, 1 lascannon, and 1 demolisher cannon and hunter killer missle and heavy stubber each
1 company commander
6 squads infantry with meltaguns
2 astropaths (one -1 to hit, one +1 to save)
1 ministerium priest
10 man squad of crusaders
2 manticore with hunter killer missle and ehavy bolter each and heavy stubber each
3 barebones short range demo tanks .. LRBT with demolisher, heavy bolter and hunter killer missle and heavy stubber each
trojan carrier vehicle with hunter killer missle and heavy stubber

I don't know if this would work or not, but you have potentially 2 repairs per turn from just the one engenseer, as well as the jury rig stratagem, the trojan repair point, to throw around. So any tank not blown to flinders will c0me back up to full operating power pretty easily, and the -1 to damage lead heavy tanks (they are gonna push the cheaper tanks with orders) should be wickedly effective.

Downside is no yarrik. Tallarn lists love having yarrik in them. It might work better with yarrick and some platoon commanders rather than a company commander and a third LRBT. The 10 crusaders can give you a somewhat resilient front line screen, if you swap your deflector shield astropaths to be their cover rather than the tanks' cover. (*and, I happen to own the models and they are fairly nicely painted, so I am not buying more bullygrn anytime soon.)

Any thoughts?

I know its tallarns and they get a bad rep in the modern game for not rerolling every shot -- but its also true they are the ONLY tanks that can fire something down to ash, then move across its body, and then have that tank ALSO fire. Their ability to use these unique tank orders is much underrated in tight terrain tank fighting.
