Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone is an exciting new skirmish miniatures game from Monster Fight Club, set in the Combat Zones of 2045’s cities. Take control of a team of Cyberpunk characters who are looking to make a name for themselves.

Combat Zone features a new, fast-paced game engine that where the players can act and react in organic, free-flowing actions. No rounds, no turns - the game just goes. As your characters take hits and get wounded, their abilities degrade - so strike hard and strike fast!

Combat Zone leaves the traditional rulers and tape measure behind and introduces a new “Limiter” based movement and range system, where your characters’ attacks and movement depend on the quality of their actions. Green, Yellow, and Red Actions all have different chances to succeed — so choose smartly!

Featuring the detailed Monster Fight Club miniatures and scenery, Combat Zone will be coming in 2021. Stay tuned for more Combat Zone news soon!

For those who didn’t hear, MFC has been making high quality Cyberpunk Red figures for a while now.

It's a joke playing on the concept that the video game Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't work well on old consoles.

First I've seen. Looks like a render though and not a finished product.

I am hoping to be able to pledge for individual models without the game. I want more cyber/future musicians but not a proprietary game and model system.

Paradigm for a happy relationship with Games Workshop: Burn the books and take the models to a different game.

Tokhuah, MFC already sells quite a few Cyberpunk Red minis asa stand-alone range. I have most of them. They are excellent but large even for 32mm figs.

Warlord Games stocks the figures in their web store, if you can't find them elsewhere.

I ordered some for my brother's birthday, and was impressed enough by the quality to pick up a few for myself while I was at it.

Curious to see what types of figures they've got on offer and what the sweet spot pledge is going to be.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I bought some of the first wave of miniatures and quite like then, so I will probably pledge for either a starter box or a one-of-everything pledge. I'm a Cyberpunk 2020 fan and collector since the 1990s, so it's par for the course.

Let's just hope I won't get burned as badly as I did with CP2077...

The supply does not get to make the demands.

The designs, while nice, seem a bit squatter and chunkier than the earlier releases from 2020. I wonder if they switched sculptors. From the 3d model world, it feels like it swapped from unit9 proportions to more papiskels.

Sucker for Cyberpunk. Anyone have any ideas of the plastic the minis are made of? Please not boardgame style PVC plastic...

Old Papiskels before he started outsourcing sculpting even. I'm not seeing a lot that super interests me as I have so much that are similar for 3d printing. But good for those that don't have a printer.

whatever they're currently made of

The miniatures are our own plastic blend, designed to hold all the fine details present in the sculptures - but with just a little bit of flex, so they don’t snap during gameplay (that’s the worst). The miniatures included in the game are the same material as the existing Cyberpunk Red RPG miniatures available from monsterfightclub.com/shop.

Probably pvc of some type but I haven't seen the current stuff to know.

Yeah, saw that. Hoping someone who has a bunch can give us a quick rundown. Got some Human Interface plastics and they're typical boardgame pieces. Warped, full of mould lines, flash, etc...

Here's a video review of their existing line of Cyberpunk Red minis -

https://mustcontainminis.com/2021/02/review-of-cyberpunk-red-miniatures-by-monster-fight-club.html

It's a video review, and I'm at work, so I haven't watched it. But the brief text bit indicates that the reviewer likes the figures. That would suggest that the quality is at least decent.

I'll also mention that while I don't currently own any figures, my FLGS does have some blisters. And I didn't notice any obvious issues while (not closely) glancing over them.

Those are resin. Wonder if they're doing some sort of resin blend for the game?

Things definitely look like a downgrade compared to the resins that are on the market already.

I wonder if they're going with the new style to make production easier/cheaper? Don't have to deal with as many undercuts for example. That's the only reason I can see but maybe there's something I'm missing.
