I believe some folk should be looking for the "christmas star" tonight if you are not in cloud cover, its not going to happen for another 60 years, and then 400, in the future.

Little late for that one, assuming you're referring to the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. They were closest on Dec. 21st.

We checked out the Christmas star during the peak time, but not being an astronomer it just felt like a little bit brighter star . I did see pics from folks who used some magnification and could see moons and everything. Still cool that it's such a rare thing!
