I always think that for DCCW’s built-in weapon, stormbolt is too weak to be used. Almost everyone will choose heavy flamer or meltagun.

So I homebrew a new weapon, Gatling bolter, which will be more practical and useful.

Profile:

Gatling Bolter:
7E:
Range24,S4AP5,Assault 6

8E:
Range24,S4AP—,Assault 6

I love it! I wish I could take a "monocolor" paint scheme and make it look that good!

Central Illinois

I think the original concept is better executed - while a chainblade and melta combination would make for an excellent weapon arm, the size of the current bits really look out of place given how small the hand and "wrist" are by comparison.

More or less yes...Great, we've gone from cheap resin substitutes to weapons banned by the geneva convention...

Maybe this second design is not the best design, but I want to make such an DCCW: Contemptor Dreadnought can reload their weapon-arm by their own (power) hands, and do many other nimble works such as operation the controll panel, carry supply box for comrades or made some simple emergencu repair.

The first design is reasonable, but the length of the arm is not enough to touch the elbow of the other arm, so it is unable to reload the weapon-arm by itself.

In the second design, the palm can be extended from the wrist to reach reload elbow of the weapon-arm,and reloading,or even change weapon-arm in middle of battle by their self. It's not shown, but it's easy to implement diorama.

dual-heavy bolter conversion:
make this weapon more sensible in looking and a more effective anti-infantry weapon option.

Heavy Stormbolter
7E:
Range36,S5AP4,Assault6,Pinned,rapid response(BS2 in fire overwatch)
8E:
Range36,S5AP-1,Damage2,Assault6,rapid response(5+ in fire overwatch)
