Has anyone done custom decals before / ordered them from a third party supplier? If so, any suggestions in the UK and what are they like?

I've not ordered from the UK, but I have ordered from Fallout Hobbies and Bedlam Creations.

They're both very good companies. Fallout have great premade sets and excellent stencils. Where I had a little trouble though was they didn't do true black on their decals. It wouldn't be noticed on most minis, but the area I was putting the decals had a black trim which made the decals themselves look faded and like a dark brown. I will say, that after I emailed them about this they apologized and emailed out a free set of decals which was great.

Bedlam Creations do full black and white and have excellent quality. They charge by the sheet like Fallout, so if you are ordering some decals, make sure you absolutely pack it to get the best value. And always order more than you need.

Custom decals are a lot more fragile than GW ones, so you have to be careful with them or they'll scratch easily. Once applied with a bit of micro sol and micro set they look great and you wouldn't know they we'ren't painted.

Both companies are US based though I believe.
