Good afternoon all.

My name's Paul and I run the 'A Vox in the Void' YouTube channel. I am dedicated to narrating Warhammer fan fiction and lore and would really appreciate your ideas on what factions you guys would be interested in hearing more about. This could be in audiobook or lore mediums.

Appreciate your comments in advance!

Paul

I would love to hear a perspective that justifies what they're doing. I know that sounds hard to do but ADB's Aurelian did it so well so it's possible! Also perhaps in the future when I finish my book we could do a collab?

With audio output this quality I'm sure you have your pick of material to chose from. I write mostly grots but I see you've done an ork piece already.

Eldar would be a treat if done right. I can imagine the sounds and voices might be handled very differently to give an ethereal otherworldly lightness to the piece. I find Eldar unlike anything else in 40k. That bit more mysterious and inaccessible. Totally different priorities and perspective. Very challenging to strike the right tone with them.

thanks for the feedback! I would love to do more chaos work but hard to find quality fan fiction. love the Eldar idea as well. Got lots to ponder over!

I second the call for doing Eldar factions, although a dramatisation of the Rangdan Xenocides would be nice, where the Dark Angels, Death Guard and possibly the two unknown Legions got their backsides thoroughly tanned, forcing the Emperor to get involved.

What strikes me is that newcomers to 40K are getting Imperium and Chaos shoved in their faces and the rulebooks give you so little of anything else. Even the xenos Codices can (and in previous editions, did) tend towards mystery, so you weren't even being told about your own army. So there are a ton of new players out there who probably don't know about the xenos factions, and have no incentive to care. This might give them that incentive.

You're welcome to take a look at Eldar Recital (link in the signature below) if you want some Eldar content. It's a classic Craftworld Eldar group, Warlock and some guardians. Nothing too obscure. They're stranded on a fallen world fighting cultists and demons.

It Introduces some cultural and technological details, and touches on their mythos, philosophy and values along the way.

The story arc is likely longer than you'd be looking for though some parts might be usable for what you have in mind.
