I've really been enjoying Age of Fantasy, but I wanted some more flavours of humans than were offered. My games are generally set in a more dark ages setting, and I wanted to be able to use my historical celts and vikings for games. Especially since this game is the only one my wife has actually enjoyed playing, so this is likely one of my best chances to use those minis in a game.
I'm intending to subscribe to the patreon one of these days to get access to the unit builder, but for now I based my units on similar units. Mostly the Havoc Warriors barbarians, with some units borrowed from wood elves (Druids) and Saurians (Gecko units morphed into levies with slings and javelins).
The Celts are definitely the better developed (and the ones I would be most interested in running as an actual army). The Vikings are more of an afterthought and it probably shows, I thought that a good way to distinguish them would be to make them more defensive, play up the shield wall aspect, but I should playtest them to see if that scales as I imagined it would.
Model wise the units here are based around Wargames Factory Celts and Vikings, you an probably see my 12 Horsemen, 3 Chariots and 30 or so Celts in the list. I also threw in Tharn Ravagers as a fantasy "Celtic Ogre" unit because I have a unit of them and I'd like to use them. They just use Havoc Ogre stats. You could easily add the Giant from the Havoc Warriors list for a big monster too, and the Fomoroid Crusher might make a good Fomorian in that role if you didn't have the old Albion giants.
Anyway, this might be of interest to some of you so I thought I would throw the cards up here. They are mostly black and white art unless I couldn't find a good image, because they are designed for cheap home printing.

I thought this would be for Saga: Age of Magic.

What is Age of Fantasy?

It's a One Page Rules version of WFB/Age of Sigmar. Basically each unit has only 3 stats, Attacks, Quality and Defense, modified by various universal special rules. It's free to download if you want, they do lists for most Warhammer and Mantic factions which covers most bases for fantasy gaming.

They also do a not-40K called Grimdark Future.

I like it because it is light enough to get non gamers to play easily and uses alternating activations which I much prefer to IGOUGO.

I didn't know there was a fantasy supplement for SAGA though, I must check that out!

Sure! Sadly my Celts aren't painted yet, but here's a couple of shots from a game of Goblins vs. Dwarves

And here's a game of Grimdark Future, Orks vs. Robots.

It's been really great for actually getting games in for me and a big motivation to get terrain and models sorted out since I will actually get to use them. My Celts have been nearly 8 years in boxes so I hope this will give me some motivation to tackle them, as they are tricky to paint and the WF models are not exactly inspiring!
