What's the best way to design a map for your wargame?
I want to produce a map to play on, and wonder if there's some nice trips and tricks to make the process easier and more effective?
I don't intent to sell this anywhere so I'm considering more or less just copying maps from similarly scaled miniature/video games and using those.

What kind of map it's meant to be?

Campaign map or map as a terrain?
