there is just something so satisfying when a print comes out near-perfect at such an angle as this. Quite often we have people commenting worried that the print looks like it won't print without supports, and we have to tell them to have faith. It is amazing how far you can push the envelop before supports become necessary. Case in point the roofs for the upcoming Mimic house, which we test-printed with no additional modifications needed to get it to work like shown below. Even with a 90-degree angle on one section it just did its thing without ever needing to hit that support button.

I'd put a 1" brim on that, otherwise a clever cut with the potentially ugly overhang where it won't matter.

I have just one more building section printing now on an enormous victorian birdhouse I am doing for my wife. The roofs were just like this angle you have and I was nervous, so I put a very small triangle support under the overhang to help support and it worked like a charm while using just a tiny amount of filament. So, yep, it is a really good feeling to get that sketchy print to come out!
I will post pics in the next day or so, as it was 8 pieces and each piece was as big as I could get on my Ender 3 and some took 4 days to print.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Ta da!!! The little mini in the doorway is a standard 28mm. I will place hinges on the entire roof so it lifts up to clean and I will place a plastic separartor in the middle and cut two holes on each side so two birds can builds nests inside. I will paint it light blue and white to match our house, which is a victorian also.
