Hey all,

Pretty dead set on rocking SC with bio flails as it'll work nicely as a marine killer. Just wondering if anyone's seen how to exactly work the now double bio flails? Don't think they sell them with double bio flails?

Tbf if you told me beforehand that "This guy only has one flail but I've upgraded him with a second" I'd have no issues with it. He can't have one in the rules (either has 2 or swaps them both for Wrecker Claws) so having one would be sufficient WYSIWIG in my opinion.

Was hoping for that response

I think it's an error in the datasheet.
The model has only ever been sold with either 2 wrecker claws, or 1 wrecker claw + 1 flail.
However the 9th edition datasheet only allows it to take either 2 wrecker claws or 2 flails.

So yeah, just count the model with 1 flail as having 2. Forgeworld need to fix their datasheet, but it's an easy counts-as until they do.

Wysiwyg isnt a rule. Model how you want and make it clear to your opponent what rules it has before the game starts.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Hoping double flails a thing. 8 attacks is pretty tasty as a primaris killer with the D2 damage wounding on 2's!

Sure, but the second flail doesn't actually do anything. It's just another weapon that rolls 2 dice for each attack made with it. Having a second one of those doesn't give you any extra attacks, as each attack the model has is made with just one flail or the other.
You would get just as many attacks with a single flail.

Having the option of making attacks with a wrecker claw vs monsters/vehicles would be nice. The wording on the wrecker claws would already mean that you miss out on re-rolling hits while only wielding one of them, so there would still be a decision to be made between taking 2 claws vs 1 claw/1 flail.
