Context; the above images are still going through the design stage and being adjusted, printed, tweaked, and reprinted. A very small sample of the range of Miniatures being worked on.

The above Miniatures are being designed for a complete tabletop wargame and will be either resin or plastic when complete, or some other similar medium. and will not be made into downloadable STL files until the game launches in the next few years.

Suggestions and positive feedback, criticism, or suggested areas of improvement are welcome, however, any hostility, unfounded negative criticism will be ignored, and considered trolling, for these in development miniatures.

The miniatures are being designed as historically accurate as possible with mild artistic license.

A minor note the Lances are simply placeholders for a longer more beefy lance with a replaceable head, along with a new gauntlet variant, and grieves is in the works to add some variation and detail to the placeholders seen here.

Some areas will be thickened after printing or changed in size to accommodate manufacturing limitations.

We've had some requests for downloads of STL files already and unfortunately because of potential theft, copyright infringement we will only be offering STL files to select individuals for personal use.

Additonally we are attempting to make our line of miniatures multi-pose, instead of monopose and our designs all reflect a commitment to personal creativity, over style. A number of helmets, jousting guards(shields) and more will be available with each Knight and should be able to switch out the horse, torso, and head on each model however we have been unable to make the legs, multi-pose at this time. . We will continue to update sneak previews of our historical like 15-16th century Knights, men at arms and other miniatures as time allows.

Some of the challenges originally starting out were cloth sculpting and movement, we had to turn to a physics-based program to give us a better understanding of how the cloth would fold and wrinkle when moving and then sculpt from that base, and it was difficult to modify the cloth of the Caparison to be thick enough for production. But we're pretty sure We've nailed it. And so we will be adding more cloth in the forms of banners, overcoats, cloaks, in future designs.

Other challenges were making historical armor for production in a 28 to 32 mm size because it does not translate well from the original photographs and required a lot of trial and error, many sketches, and trips to the museum, historical videos, and others. The sheer variety and complexity of choice from their historical counterparts made this a vast undertaking. Each historically accurate piece of the harness(armor) and helmets went through and still is going through development. The most difficult part of the design process is to compromise aspects of each armor for production, from the original details of their historical counterparts, and to exaggerate certain details for the production of each multi-pose miniature. Hopefully, that answers some questions or criticisms you may have.

Furthermore, after much thought, we are working on a line of miniatures for Fiverr's up-and-coming subscription selling option of a range of random miniatures that will be in STL format for 3D printing and already sliced. The STL miniatures will not be based on anything related to Warhammer 40k as to not infringe on their property, or skirt around plagiarizing their work. In addition, we feel that Fiverr is somewhat more ethical than Patreon.

Fiverr's ethics so far follow along with our values, on not supporting cancel culture in any way shape, and form, we even go as far as to directly call the practice of cancel culture highly unethical, because it is dangerous and can hurt innocent people, and that history has taught us that the dangerous censure of individuals will continue to snowball into something worse. In that respect, we are happy that Fiverr so far to our knowledge has not participated in this, dangerous and unethical practice, compared to Patreon.

Keep in mind our subscriptions will be limited to only a few miniatures per month and cost around one dollar or less. As it is our intent to continue with the production and development of Physical models over digital. We have limited interest in making digital STL files. So that we can concentrate on game development and if Fiverr's policies change to support cancel culture we will pull our work from their company.

Bayonet & Ricochet will choose freedom, and diversity of ideas, and the free exchange of thought over temporary security every single time. As we strive to be part of a diverse and free society, instead of a hyper corporatized, hyper restrictive monoculture, demanding strict conformity over free expression.

Speaking of History our mission with Bayonet & Ricochet is to make historical miniatures, and through the study of history in the process of making our products, we have learned something very important, those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat its horrific atrocities every single time.

The model is very good. But it seems to me that it will require a special flexible resin, because some parts are very thin.

Hello. Thank you for the positive feedback. We've addressed the thickness of models in the pre-production stage, what you're looking at is prototype concepts. Some of the thinner areas like the reins and face shield and some areas of the horse Caparison will be made thicker before it hits the manufacturing process and final stages of production.

I've had to answer this particular observation often we are still deciding on a few formats such as model size whether it's going to be 28mm or 32 what type of medium whether it will be plastic, resin or something else, even potentially pewter. Which will also change how the sculpting will be produced.
We're still trying to find a healthy balance between production/ tabletop heroic style and we are trying to push the limits on detail. Additionally, our intent is to push the line between realism, production limitations, and visual aesthetic viewed from far away. We are intentionally trying and hopefully succeeding in making our miniatures less bulky than a lot of miniatures on the market.
I have to say it's honestly the hardest part of the process that's required the most effort. We do not know if they will need to be heavily modified yet before it hits a mold. Luckily because of the medium, changes are easy to adapt.

Thank you so much for your great reply. I hope one day you the opportunity to paint one of the jousting knights if everything goes according to plan.

Thanks a lot just the kind of positive feedback that gives us the energy to keep working.
