Anyone else watching this (on BBC iplayer for me) at the moment?

4 episodes in - Pretty dark but good, and some nice world building elements.

I AM A MARINE PLAYER

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

Tried to watch an episode but it just wasn't grabbing me.

Not sure why, though...

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

I got about half way through when they had it on tv (then it vanished or something better came on and I stopped)

it's got some interesting ideas in places, but was beginning to labour by the time I stopped,

I may have to iplayer to the end now ive been reminded though

I watched the first three episodes. It had some nice ideas, and a number of things it pulled of well, but other things not so much.

The teen angst was a bit predictable, some of the actors didn't really click together in my opinion, and it almost seemed forced at times.
