Hey guys and gals, I have a 1000 point tournament coming up this Friday and I wanted to get some eyes on my list. I know that this is not a tournament winning list or army, so I'm not expecting anything too crazy, I just want to try to make my opponents break some sort of sweat.
The plan is to try and deepstrike the Oblits and the Warp Talons, use the cultists to just sit on objectives, and use the Dark Appostle and deamon hosts to death star around and krump as best I can. For secondary's I was thinking Deploy Scramblers, Psychic Ritual, and I'm undecided on the final one. Give me some advice and pointers on the list and just some tournament advice in general as it will be my first one and my 4th time ever playing 40k.

I don’t know if bumping is frowned upon, my apologies if it is, but I could really use some advice.

I honestly own a 1K army of World Eaters myself but I have played less games than you have and don't feel comfortable giving advice yet.

How did it go?

Well, it actually preformed decently. I won two games, one against GSC (not much of a surprise), and once against fraggin' Custodes!
I did roll crazy well against the golden bois, but still, definitely an awesome game. Then in the final round I drew the SOB while sitting in 2nd place as far as points... then I preceded to be tabled in turn 2, knocking me down to a 5th place final. It was a ton of fun and I would recommend the list.
