So we had the recent pipeline hack with ransomware that caused a gas shortage in america.

At least one person has been severely injured as a result of this wile trying to horde gasoline, while her condition may be partially due to her own stupidity it was also at least partly related to these hackers activities.

So what does america and the west do about this sort of thing? The hack attacks come from russia, there's little doubt on that. So do we respond? How?
