My Void Dragon! I think this is the best model I've ever done but I'd love some C&C!  [RSS] Share on facebook Share on Twitter Submit to Reddit

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to simply link to my existing gallery (on here) without posting at least one image so here's the link to the full gallery along with the [massively oversized] first image!

Love the contrast of the lightning and jade-green body, very nice indeed If I had to make a critique I'd put some more colour into the base and the masonry. Couple of bits of green on those little scarabs wouldn't go amiss.

It's such an awesome model and great to see it well painted. A model to be proud of for sure!

I agree with Valkyrie that the base would benefit from some contrasting colors. I also think you could increase the contrast between the yellow and orange on the swirls even more to make them really pop out against the darker body and base of the model.

Wow, thank you all for the extremely kind words! I'm definitely going to review the base and see what I can do!

This looks great, but you've mostly concealed the cool digitization/fragmentation of the Void Dragon's body. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but it's one of the coolest features of the mini.

I did think about this, and that is definitely a fair point. I may have to evaluate how I'd want to accentuate those.
