Since I wanted to do something non-standard, I've been doing a bunch of test-paints using the cheap 5-man cadian box. I've narrowed it down to these two:
The armor is Vallejo Reflective Green. Its more intense than GW's color and I like how it pops with Light Olive Green highlight.
I tried many different colors for the uniform. Khaki, German Camo Beige, even Luftwaffer blue. None of them seemed to fit. On the left is Vallejo Russian Uniform with a Green-Grey highlight. I do like it, but there is no denying that the more Games Workshopsesque scheme has more "pop" due to the higher contrast (I used Vallejo Green Ocher which is somewhat more intense than the usual Citatel color, with a Buff highlight).
Thoughts?

Prefer the all green.
But I like schemes that vary from the GW looks.

I think I prefer the all-green scheme, but the other one has a lot of contrast, which helps it to pop. Maybe two different shades of green would help to differentiate the different materials and provide some much-needed contrast.

The green is a little to monochrome for my taste. Both could work, but I prefer a little more “pop” in my armies. I know it’s not realistic, but while plain and drab is good on actual battlefields, it makes for boring game tables.
Nice work on painting both those guys. I’m sure whichever scheme you roll with will end up as a lovely army.

I kind of sympathize with the monochrome comment, my guys have Castellan Green armor and Deathworld Forest uniform with Cammo. It does tend to become a Sea of Green after a while (Guard, the other Green Tide!)
Still, I like your green guy the best.

If you want something more non-standard, then I'd say go for the all-green over the standard Cadian Scheme. If you want a little more variation, I'd suggest maybe changing the colour of the casing on his rifle perhaps? Even just adding a stripe or whatever. Green flak armor, green fatigues and a green gun is pretty intensely green haha.
But like, at the same time, these are your dudes my guy. And they're guard. So go with whichever you like best!

The all green looks good, 2 tone is played out.

Go all green, gives it more of camo feel.
