So I am trying to assemble an actual list from the Seraphon SC box set, to better understand what I need, and a friend of mine pointed me to a video that says instead of making the Saurus Oldblood on a Carnasaur, like the box shows, I should separate them into two different units, Old blood on foot with the troops, and the Carnasaur as this giant tank unit. However, when I tried to build the list, I couldn't find the unit page (Warscroll?) for the stand alone Carnasaur? Is that an actual unit, or did the video mean make the giant dinosaur into a "counts as" for another unit?

Thanks.

There is no Carnosaur standalone unit. You should link the video, would help other people interpret it for you.

good point! I just rewatched it:

He says it's a Troglodon, which also is not a stand alone unit. Does he mean the Skink on a troglodon?

Ah, so that's what I figured he would have meant. He's basically referring to this post:
https://www.lustria-online.com/threads/getting-the-most-from-your-start-collecting-seraphon-box.20560/
Which shows how far you can stretch the Start Collecting Box.
With some sculpting work you can get both a mounted Carnosaur and a counts-as Troglodon.
