So, I might not do this at all, but second hand I've spotted an old metal Beastmaster.
Love the model, but tbh I'm not ultra sold on using him as a Beastmaster, just because I'm still chewing over whether I want to get into razorwing flocks or not - the models, mainly haha. I like the idea of having them as albatrosses for my really rather overwrought backstory, but I still wake up in the night in a cold sweat, from nightmares where I still keep finding flash and miscasting and warping and bubbles on my resin eldar rangers...

I'm currently putting together a bunch of small forces for very quick pick up games with friends at my house. As it stands, I have 5 Dark Eldar Kabalites in hand. Now, at only 5 dudes, this makes them I think the smallest and most vulnerable force, whereas I have over 10 space marines, more orks than I know what to do with, a bunch of inquisitors, and so many genestealers I stopped counting and only mindlessly drybrush like a strange xeno-serving automaton, and a few others. But! My DEldar are already nearly finished, so I thought it'd be fun to try and make them really work, and join the roster of mini-armies for quick, casual games.

SO! With this in mind, I was thinking of using the beastmaster to convert into an archon with a Hellion board, to make him a bit faster, and try and just sling him into CC.

If I were to do this, what's like a really reliable anti-infantry build? I know there are no rules for an Archon on a board, but tbh I'm happy to play pretty fast and loose with all of that just so I can have a little flying blender character to make my DE guys and gals more fun to play. Make him as nasty as possible, points don't really matter too much, I'm really more concerned with weapon loadouts and reliable killing power.

Alternately, if anyone thinks it might be smarter to have a board archon who uses his agility to avoid melee, and instead quickly harass units from a distance, lemme know!

Cheers for looking, and I hope you all enjoyed todays PoserMcBogus is stupid and bored at work™️ thread!
