By which I mean:

We know that humans and eldar have souls in 40K, the part of their consciousness that lives in warp space. When you die the chaos gods try to consume your soul, slaneesh has a sweet tooth for eldar souls. One of the jobs the emperor does is prevent human souls from being consumed by the chaos gods (this might be old fluff).

We also know that Orks have their own warp entities, gork and mork, but I e never seen anything that talks about Orks souls and their warp existence after death. Is there a huge green horde in the warp????

I do remember one story about an army of Orks that tried to attack the realm of Khorne and although they failed khorne was so impressed that he keep resurrecting the army so the final battle between Orks and khorne can play out repeatedly

I should also ask, was there any mention of gork and mork being affected by the events of the great rift or PA

Orks believe in reincarnation. They believe that when they die their souls are swallowed up by Gork and Mork and then vomited back out into new Ork bodies.

Is that what happens or just what they believe.

We know a lot of facts about eldar souls, for example

Some also believe in an afterlife of eternal combat, which Tuska, the "Daemon-Killa" seems to have found:

Lexicanum wrote:Tuska, the "Daemon-Killa", is an Ork Warboss who, aided by many weirdboyz, managed to bypass the defenses around Cadia and led his Waaagh! in an invasion of the Eye of Terror, in search of Daemons to fight.

Tuska made his mark in the Eye of Terror, by defeating the Daemon hordes on several Daemon Worlds, and seemed unstoppable until his Waaagh! crash-landed on a flesh planet. The planet belonged to a mighty Daemon Prince of Khorne known as the Blood Prince, who soon led his Daemonic hordes against the invading Orks. In the battle that followed, Tuska suffered many deep wounds and his Boyz took heavy losses. Just as the Blood Prince was about to finish Tuska, his Weirdboyz managed to distract the Daemon using their psychic powers, giving Tuska enough time to impale the creature between its legs with his Power Klaw before being killed himself. The Warboss’ vast horde was later eventually slain to an Ork by the wrathful Daemon Prince and his minions.

However, the story did not end there for Tuska. Khorne had such joy in watching the murderous spectacle, that he ensured that Tuska's Waaagh! rose once more the very next dawn. Now, the Orks repeat the fight over and over again, for the Blood God was so impressed by their limitless battlelust that he took the Orks into his own domain. In the shadow of the Brass Citadel, his elite Bloodletter generals battle against Daemon-Killa’s undying horde on a daily basis. This suits the Warboss just fine: he has finally found a good fight that never ends.

That's not the normal Ork fate though. That afterlife is a Khorne created afterlife that just so happens to make Orks happy as well. That overlap between Orks' desire to fight and Khorne's bloodlust is why some Orks fall into the worship of Khorne, though they are exceptions and outcasts from normal Ork society.

So Gork/Mork aren't really Warp entities and might not even exist. Unlike the Chaos or Aledari Gods, nobody has ever witnessed Gork/Mork except the Orks themselves.
We know Ork psykers draw upon the power of the Waaaagh to use their power and the Orks have a semi-gestalt consciousness through the Waaaaagh. It might be that Ork souls are too crude to be of any use to a Warp entity or they might not even have a soul.

Sorry, this is wrong. It is explicitly stated in the Ork codex that Gork and Mork are warp gods in their own right and effectively divine powerhouses that don't affect the Great Game of the Big 4 or the others because Gork and Mork are too busy in their eternal scrum between one another. You can see their direct intervention when Ghazzy only escapes Yarrick and Helbrecht when Gork and Mork speak through all the Weirdboyz on Ghazzy's command deck and disables all the Imperial ships nearby while teleporting Ghazzy's Kill Kroozer flagship away to safety to continue his divinely ordained work of forming the biggest WAAAGH! of the galaxy.

An older excerpt of the them from WAAARGH! The Orks, demonstrates this pretty well, when the first gargant/stompa was made my Meks and as effigies of Gork/Mork drew the twin god's attention from beyond:

"Gork and Mork stirred and a wave of fear passed through the arp. Suicide and incidence of violent crime climbed steeply...On Distant Earth, a living corpse in a golden throne opened eyes that held fear for the first time in centuries."

"Mork moved on the face of the warp, brushing aside Daemons and ignoring ancient barriers set by long dead Gods. He moved from world to world and placed in the heart of every Ork the desire to be restless, to move, to follow the siren call of adventure when it came. He sensed other Powers subtly striving to oppose him and laughed at their attempts to restrain his crude, irresistble purpose."

Grimskul,

That is some excellent Ork lore there. Thank you for that. I haven't read that in a while.

Orks and Eldar were created by the old ones. Their purpose was to fight the Ctan and neurons. Both would have souls because the lore so demonstrates it with the Eldar against Slannesh. Orks wouldn't care if they have souls or not as long as they get to have a great scrap.

Sorry necrons not neurons.

I don't think it's entirely clear, but Orks definitely do have souls and are probably recycled/claimed into Gork and Mork which keeps them in their divine powerhouse state. Their deaths definitely don't feed into any other gods as far as I know.

G/Mork may well have been able to take the ork souls out of khorne's realm, but decided "Why botha? Dere plenty 'appy where dey iz, plus dere givin' dat squigfaced git korn a proppa t look at 'ow ta do fings."

One thing I recall reading a long while back (I think in one of the rule books since I don't have an ork codex) is that Gork and Mork, whilst generally enthralled in fighting each other, are more then capable of affecting the great 4 Chaos Gods and their realms. Indeed Gork and Mork are akin to the Orks in that, if they unite, they are able to go stomping and smashing through the other Chaos Gods. They can, and have, beaten up Khorn, Torn up Nurgls Gardens and more

Just like the Orks could, if united, tear through the Galaxy as a vast powerhouse of destruction.

However just like the Orks, Gork and Mork will end up falling into infighting pretty fast and lose sight of the "bigga pictur" for the joy of just fighting.

Hey, speaking of greenies and the warp, do ork ships use geller fields or do they just rely on good old orky contempt of chaos for protection?

I always thought the orks sort of enjoyed the demon incursions on their roks. Makes the space trip more interesting.

They don't seem to use gellar fields, they welcome daemonic invasions as a way to pass the time.

For some reason I think that demons would think twice before attacking an ork space hulk. If the Orks are in the warp they are on the war path and armed to the teeth as opposed to a human convoy that might be doing something much more boring.

Heh heh, I imagine that if daemons manifest themselves as what their victims fear, then daemons attacking orks would manifest as the one thing an ork might fear: A weak, puny, pathetic enemy who's so feeble he's boring to fight. That might be an ork's nightmare.

Or a bunch of weak-ass pacifists with powers to neutralize the WAAAGH energy. Now that’s an Ork’s nightmare.

Actually i'd imagine that would depend on the klan or fixation, their warp/nightmare/hell I mean.

A speed freaks hell would be a world covered in molasses or some such, that prevents them from going faster than a crawl.

Badmoons, some sort of tooth decaying plague.

Deffskulls, everything is already theirs? Or nothing at all to loot/steal, an endless void.

Etc etc.
