Dakka's owners do not support the theft of IP, via the sharing and digital printing of copyrighted designs without the copyright owner's permission.

So what does that means for this forum?

Simply put: if you are in possession of, or have knowledge of where people can find, 3D printing files of copyrighted designs that are being shared without the copyright holder's consent, we ask that you do not:

• directly post/share those files on Dakka.
• discuss the existence of those files on Dakka.
• mention or post a link to a site that does host those files.

As always if you have any questions at all of what is allowed or not allowed, please PM a moderator before making the post!

Thanks!

Would it be acceptable to run a thread here showing the monthly Modiphius releases under the STL line?

I will keep it to the news thread if preferred, not sure if you want this for hobby/fan side of things rather than advertising, but obviously readers here might have a vested interest in seeing each release we are doing.

You can run an ongoing thread about that topic either in this forum or news & rumors, but not both.

N&R obviously gets vastly more traffic, but threads also get pushed off the first page much more quickly than will happen in this forum, so it’s entirely your choice.

Ok, tricky one.

I've got the "main" Fallout thread that I (mostly) keep updated each month as we drop news and reveals of physical releases, that needs to stay as its the main news channel for folks here/who don't use the FB feed.

As such I guess I'll have to keep the STL news there and double dip as it doesn't make sense to kill that one and then put that info here as well as the STL releases.

Thanks for the info.

Boom! Leman Russ Commander

Out of a lack of knowledge: If I designed 3D printing files to convert GW models into other GW models that went out of production, using the originals measurements (stuff like a upgrade kit to turn a Leman Russ into something pretty close to a Destroyer Tank hunter) is it problematic to post that here?
