Hi Guys, Just started painting war hammer a few weeks ago and this is my second model. I think it needs something else but let me know what you think ? I am a total beginner so please keep that in mind.

Hah! You're 2nd model still looks better than any of my Space Wolves. I really like the red you did on the left elbow.

As for something missing well it's hard to say, is there a part of the model you think is plain or needs additional detail?

Hey Thanks man. The problem I have now is im so slow at doing this! Ive only managed to do this and another model in the space of a couple of weeks. I tried to do lips on this one which have turned out pretty funny as he looks like he is wearing lipstick but I left it on because it amused me.

Better pick of the face here

Oh Canada!

Tip for lips - don't go too pink, and don't do the top lip. If you look at pictures of people w/o makeup, you'll likely notice that the bottom lip is a bit pinker but the upper is both less visible and closer to the default skintone.

Speed comes with time, to a certain extent. But there's also a trade-off between quality and time. Everyone has their own personal comfort zone on that sliding scale, and few can do both very fast and very good on the same model.

If I was as clean as that when I started painting I think I’d have been a much happier person. Looks great dude, I especially like the fur!

Thanks for the feedback. I won't be doing the pink again for sure! Thanks for the tip on the top lip too. Your totally right with that. I'll make sure I do that for the next model. Yes, km sure I'll improve over time once I've done these things a few times. I think it's taking a while because it's litrally the first time I've painted anything like this. So tiny...

My goal is to just improve more so one day I can produce models like yours buddy! Love the female space wolves you have done too. Don't see that very often!
