Just a quick FYI, Today is Amazon Prime day, I'm sure there are plenty of deals out there, but I just ordered 2 1liter bottles of Anycubic Grey resin for $26.39 each instead of the usual $32.99.

It’s postponed in Canada as of now. I don’t know if it’s the same elsewhere

What is this "Store" thing? Is that like a pile of shame, just with unused resin?

I had ordered a bottle from AnyCubic two weeks ago with a 3-8 day shipping time. Messaged them after a week, they are out of stock for a month, told me to wait patiently , I asked ever so nicely for a refund. They said that might take a week. I think I'll just keep ordering from Amazon, it's almost 20% cheaper on a daily basis anyway and 2-3 days shipping. I have had to cut back on my filament as I have a few months worth piled up especially with this new printer taking my attention away.

Amazon UK have the Mars 2 for £152. Unless you're waiting for the new Mars 3 it's a damn good deal, certainly the lowest I've seen it over here.

Would this be good as a first 3D printer? I've been thinking about one for a while and considering the sale, now is as good a time as any!

I think so. The Elegoo brand is a good one, and the Mars 2 has the monochrome screen that is now the default spec for resin printers. It doesn't ahve all the bells and whistles that the "pro" version of the MArs 2 has, but for thta price, its a great option for getting to grips with the whole process.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Absolutely, the Mars 2 is a great machine. The only thing I'm iffy about it is the vat, which is plastic.

I love my Mars. So much so I now have a Saturn on the way. You will love it and so much resin print help out there to get you on the right track if any trouble.

I guess I will be selling my Mars on Craigslist coming up soon.

I started with an Ender3, I was worried about the chemicals with the Anycubic, but I have had one for 2 weeks and love it. So much simpler, just would like a larger print area, but I'll save the big things for the Ender to play with.

Yes, I will keep my Ender 3 for the big stuff. I would give my Mars to one of my sons, but they are not into printing.

Just watch, as soon as its gone one will say, "Heeeyyy, do you still have your old printer...?"
