Hi all, if i had a 10 man squad of heavy intercessors, could i for my heavy weapon choice have 1 hellstorm heavy bolter and 1 executor heavy bolter. Or do they both have to be the same heavy weapon. Thank you.

IIRC its all the same sort, so all with Hellstorm bolt rifle and you can have 2 Hellstorm Heavy Bolter in the 10 man squad.

The exception is the Deathwatch Indomitor Kill Team, which allows any to swap instead of all.

All the models in the unit have to take the same base weapon. You can then decide to upgrade one out of every five, but the upgrade depends on the base weapon. This means it is impossible to have two different upgrades in the same unit.

Example - you choose for every model in a ten man unit to be armed with hellstorm bolt rifles. Two are then eligible to upgrade to hellstorm heavy bolters. They cannot upgrade to anything else, because hellstorm bolt rifles can only upgrade to hellstorm heavy bolters.
