As the title says I'm looking for help.

I'm using still water and gravel but they look empty and kind of boring, anyone have any advice on things I can get, links would be great, I'm in the uk btw

You could add some vegetation, I use swamp tuff and lichen, a dark brown base rim too, don't leave it black.

Yea, adding vegetation helps sutch as clump foliage, flock, plants, tall grass and roots.
Any decent mini shop hold these kind of products, and if that fails, hit up model railway stores, they are experts on scenery.

Inspiration helps along way, and google is full of images.
