How long did all 20 Primarchs fight together before Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb get deleted? Suddenly 2 are gone? Then how long did the other 18 fight before the Heresy? How long did it take the Emperor to find all his boys? Sorry I’m ignorant, but it’s like wtf is going on? At least in my mind? I still have no idea how most of the Primarchs grew up. Yeah I been lazy, so asking all you Lore Lords.

Souces vary who was the first Primarch found, but it was during the Great Crusade which lasted for approx 200 years. The Great Crusade ended with the start of the Horus Heresy.

All 20 Primarchs had been found before the start of the HH, and Primarchs #2 and #11 had already gone missing the final Primarch was found. So we can say with some confidence that the Primarchs fought together for less than 200 years, and that for some it would have been significantly less time than that.

Perhaps others can be more specific with exact dates/timings.

II and XI were erased before Corax was found, with Corax being the 19th Primarch recovered.
II was one of the first eight Primarchs recovered, possibly the 3rd.
XI was one of the last but pre-Corax and Alpharius/Omegon.
Both were erased roughly 43 years before the razing of Monarchia.
The Great Crusade lasted like 300 years so there's plenty of time for Legions II and XI to have fought and then been erased.

Unfortunately I don’t have the sources to hand, but IIRC there are conflicting stories as to how/when Horus was found, with the generally accepted version that he was the first one found.

Then as you say, there is the recent revelation that but I think that has an element of doubt to it. Personally, I like this one.

So two options, both of which could be wrong. If they are both wrong then it must have been someone else entirely. I think the official order was revealed by Laurie Goulding a few years ago, but GW aren’t necessarily sticking with that, especially in light of the above.

If Alpharius was never lost and the Emperor always had him, Horus was still the first Primarch recovered by the Emperor.

IIRC, he was was lost, and was the first found

But seriously, Alpharius has like a hundred origin stories already. There is no reason to believe this one is more credible than all the others.

It's a book about Alpharius, told by Alpharius. That's about as trustworthy as a dude called Liar McLiarson.

Very true!!

I think the biggest point in favour of it being true is that Alpharius first and Omegon last is about as subtle as the Primarch of the Iron Hands being called Ferrus Manus!!
