How many units in the army must have, for example <Khorne> to count as a viable battle-forged army? if I take Heretic Astartes with a unit of Berserkers and a unit of Noise Marines, can I take a detachment of bloodletters and daemonettes? What if my
CSM is lead by a Daemon Prince with a Mark of Tzeentch, is that enough to allow me to add CD Flamers?
I know it´s confusing right now until they release the new codicies, but how does it work right now? Does it even work right now?
Basically, almost everything works at the detachment level.
If your detachment has a shared keyword other than imperium, chaos, or xenos, you have battle forged detachment. Almost every army has a "purity " bonus that Grants them extra powers if the detachment contains nothing but that faction.
So, you could have a
CSM army of just a chaos lord and a squad of cam, and that would be a valid patrol detachment of battle forged
CSM. You could then add another detachment of chaos deamons which was also battle forged.
Each part of the army would get.its "purity " bonus, but those are normally locked by keyword so each only gets it's own bonus, not both getting both. Also, most stratagems are linked to keywords as well. On top of that, some armies have a "army purity" bonus on top.of the detachment purity bonus, like death guard
