Hey everyone,

I'm wondering about the current Open War cards, specifically how they differ from the previous set?

Thanks!

Seconded cause I'm trying to decide if it's better to play with the Open War cards over the BRB & GT missions.

My group found they preferred the Open War cards as it's a lot easier than faffing around with secondaries and still makes for a fun game.

However I can't weigh in on comparative differences between 8th and 9th though.

due to nurgle's plague and not playing for a while outside occational tts I don't recall much of 8th open war beyond i preffered it. now that we can play at our FLGS again I still prefer open war but don't recall enough about the 8th edition card to give it justice. still have em somewhere may try to dig them up and see at some point

We used the 8th ed cards, and they were good for stray games.
I'm no use either, as to what the new cards contain. It'd be nice to know.

I have the new cards (or at least I believe it should be the current set ) and played a few Crusade games with them. I can post some pics after work on what some Objectives, Twists or such are if needed.
I don't know how they differ from the old set, never had that.

Yes, please post some pictures when you get a chance. I have still have my 8e Open War deck somewhere and we got a lot of value out that.

Here‘s a mix of cards. You draw one Deployment, Objective and Twist. Sudden Death card is drawn by you, if your army is under the strength of the other.

Those look fun, I'll have to keep an eye out for the latest cards.

Thanks for the photo.

It appears there there are some slight differences between these and the original Open War cards.

I see deployment setups that aren't in the OG set, although some of the twists there are the same, just with different names.
